Do you ever question if your relationship with technology is excessive?

Join this book club and workshop on Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport, and let’s explore it together while building community!!!

Making Space for Creativity

Join us at The Place Studio and Gallery in Concord for a mindful event with Be One, LLC and Tigerlily by Rachel and 27 Teas for a mellow afternoon of meditation, creativity and loose leaf tea!

As we head into fall, it's important to set time aside to recenter yourself so you can feel reinvigorated, creative and ready for whatever is next!

As you arrive at the event, you will be able to taste a variety of beverages by 27 Teas, a New Hampshire-run loose leaf tea company. Later in the event, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the teas tasted, by 27 Teas owner Margaret.

Once you have found a new friend to sit next to, Health Coach Phoebe Axtman will lead a meditation, followed by a centering activity. This is an opportunity for creators to establish a creative-mindset. As well as set an intention and manifest what you want during the upcoming season of change.

For the second portion of this mindful event we'll each be creating our own collage art pieces of our favorite quotes or expressions using magazine clippings, decorative papers and anything else that sparks joy! Whether it's a favorite song lyric, famous quote, daily mantra, or simply words that jump out to you from magazines, the goal is to let your creativity flow and create something that helps you feel centered and inspired!

Collage is a great medium for discovering your own creativity, and therapeutic for expressing yourself; there's no pressure to ‘be a good artist’ or know how to draw/paint! Feel free to bring your own materials, but we will have everything you need to jumpstart your creativity!

Join us for a fun and therapeutic afternoon of collage and delicious teas! Fostering creativity and making space for it is so important, and we hope by creating this event you can set aside time for yourself and for creativity! Plus, meet and chat with 4 local entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses in a welcoming and approachable environment!

P.S. If you have magazines at home, please bring them!
